Zelle, in a tweet, stated that its network is operating normally and placed the blame on Chase Bank, stating that the bank is encountering issues with payment processing. “The rest of the Zelle network is functioning as usual,” the tweet read. “Chase is one of our partner banks and has complete control over the Zelle feature in their app.”
Chase Bank issued a statement acknowledging the problem and expressing their efforts to restore full service for account transfers, Zelle payments, and bill payments.
