Among the constituents of the Stoxx Europe 600 index, TUI AG, a leisure/arts/hospitality company, experienced the largest increase in share price on Monday, with a gain of 4.8%. Other notable gainers included Dr. Martens PLC, a clothing/textiles firm, and Galp Energia SGPS S/A, a fossil fuels company, both of which saw their shares rise by 4.5%.
Top Losers in the Stoxx Europe 600
Atos SE, a business/consumer services company, witnessed the largest drop among the constituents of the Stoxx Europe 600 index, with its shares plunging by 16.4% on Monday. Heineken N.V., a beverages/drinks firm, and Heineken Holding N.V. also experienced significant declines, with their shares weakening by 8.0% and 7.5%, respectively.
Currency and Commodity Movements
The pound was up by 0.07% against the dollar, while the euro rose by 0.02% against the dollar. Brent crude increased by 1.11% to reach $85.35.
