Most large cryptocurrencies experienced a decline during morning trading on Tuesday. Ethereum (ETH) witnessed the biggest change, shedding 1.24% and reaching a value of $1,868.47.
Six additional currencies also posted decreases on Tuesday. Ripple (XRP) fell 1.23% to 47 cents, while Dogecoin (DOGE) declined 1.23% and reached 6 cents.
Uniswap (UNI) fell 1.23% to $5.24, and Bitcoin (BTC) shed 1.10% to $30,436.70. Polygon (MATIC) slid 0.76% to 74 cents.
Among the decrease in cryptocurrency values, Polkadot (DOT) experienced the smallest decline, slipping 0.70% to $5.15.
On the other hand, two cryptocurrencies made gains. Solana (SOL) saw the largest rise of 3.61%, reaching a value of $22.12. Cardano (ADA) climbed 0.30% and reached 29 cents.
In related company news, shares of Coinbase Global Inc. (COIN) increased by 3.97% to $84.43, while MicroStrategy Inc. (MSTR) dropped 1.64% to $401.02. Riot Platforms Inc. (RIOT) saw a climb of 0.47% to $16.94, and Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. (MARA) rose by 1.42% to $17.16.
Overstock.com Inc. (OSTK) climbed by 2.27% to $30.25, while Block Inc. (SQ) rose by 1.06% to $69.79 and Tesla Inc. (TSLA) slightly declined by 0.13% to $269.26.
PayPal Holdings Inc. (PYPL) witnessed a rise of 0.59% to $69.69, and Ebang International Holdings Inc. (EBON) had a significant jump of 11.79% to $8.72. NVIDIA Corp. (NVDA) climbed 0.28% to $422.98, while Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) fell 2.14% to $111.15.
In the fund space, the blockchain-focused Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF (BLOK) rose by 0.44% to $25.00. The Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators ETF (BITQ), which focuses on pure-play crypto companies, climbed 0.23% to $9.76. The Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), which tracks the Bitcoin market price, slightly declined by 0.25% to $19.94.
