Top Decreases
Among the Stoxx Europe 600 constituents, retail company HelloFresh SE saw the largest decrease on Thursday, with shares plummeting by 22.4%. Shares of health care/life sciences firm MorphoSys AG and company Burberry Group PLC also tumbled by 11.2%, respectively.
Allegro.eu S.A., a technology company, and industrial goods firm Gerresheimer AG rounded out the top five largest decreases, with their stocks declining by 9.3% and 9.0%, respectively.
Top Increases
Siemens AG, a business/consumer services company, saw the largest increase among the Stoxx Europe 600 constituents, with shares gaining 5.7% on Thursday. Shares of road/rail transport firm Alstom S.A. and technology company Samhaellsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB Series B gained 4.4% and 3.9%, respectively.
Delivery Hero SE, a technology company, and industrial goods firm Halma PLC rounded out the top five largest increases, as their stocks gained 3.2% and 3.2%, respectively.
Currency and Commodity Market Updates
The pound was up 0.04% against the dollar, while the euro was up 0.01%. Brent crude weakened by 4.37% to $77.63.
Bond Yields
The yield on the 10-year gilt fell by 7.67 basis points to 4.154%, and the yield on the German 10-year bund fell by 4.660 basis points to 2.60%.
